Female . Buy it! If you are looking for a comfortable and sober swimsuit to hide any imperfections, then this suit is for you! My legs are my problem area, so I know I don't need anything shorter than my knees. Not only am I pale and no matter how hard I try to tan I can't get it right, they are shorter which is why I bought them. Also the abdominal area, I didn't have to show anything. I LOVE THIS swimsuit! I hesitate and can wear 14W or 16 pants, but 16W will be looser. I ordered it for 18-20 and I'm so glad I did! It's not too tight and certainly not too loose. That's great! It's not too heavy so I think I can get in and out of the pool without being weighed down. Like a bathing suit. There is support in the chest area which is very nice! It was so cute that I even wore the top alone to go shopping in the heat of San Diego this summer (July 2019). For reference, I'm 5'3" tall and weigh about 210 pounds.
