Pros: This case fits the official Otterbox Box Defender case for my S7 (NOT Edge or Active models). Holds the phone firmly in any position I can put it in. The hinge is strong but not too tight. It doesn't say Otterbix anywhere, but they made it clear in the item description. Cons: It's clearly not the same type of plastic as the official holster. There is no glossy finish or texture on the surface. It seems like it could be seconds, items that failed quality control due to minor imperfections. Although they are only visual and not functional, I am completely satisfied with them. The one I received had a small ripple in the belt clip. Most people wouldn't notice, but I always check out any item that's that big of a discount from the original. Overall this is a great product for the price and not a stellar competitor to the original. However, it's still less than half the cost of what you'll end up paying for a warranty replacement and more than 80% less than the full replacement cost.
