I was looking for an alternative charger for my old Surface 4 Pro. With a crowded power strip, switching chargers for the only non-Type-C device I had left was a hassle. And when I saw this adapter, I decided to give it a try. First of all it works and allows you to use the Type-C charger very well on my Surface Pro. However, there are two minor problems. First, the poor quality of the plastic. I won't complain too much as this is a very unique device. However, even plugging something into the USB port was a problem. Second, it would be much better if both power and USB went through the Type-C connector. That way I could take full advantage of my dock instead of trying to use additional adapters. However, it works and I no longer have to mix chargers around.
