The ratchet strap is a great idea, especially for weight changers. I have an athletic build but love the tight belt it allows me to get in perfectly and I can adjust for a tucked in shirt or other variables without the constraint of belt buckle holes. The fit and finish are exceptional, and while I was initially hesitant to 'make' the belt, you'll quickly discover that it's very easy. If I had any complaints it would be the weight. While this increases durability, it also causes your pants to fall off once opened, which is the only downside to a belt.
