Lately, if I leave my gas permeable contact lenses in my eyes for too long or if I've had a long day at work, my contact lenses become difficult to push out of my eyes. These little rubber stoppers take some practice and you won't be squeamish about putting them in your eyes, but once you get the hang of them, they'll be very comfortable. The trick is to open your eyes wide and look straight ahead. Take a small plunger and, using a little more force than you would like, press it firmly against the center of the contact lens and then pull it straight out of your eye. Voila! Your lens has been removed. I would recommend them to anyone who feels they can master the technique. They are also very easy to clean and store. A neat little invention, of course.
