When I read the reviews before buying, I was amazed at their range (from unconditional delight to bitter disappointment), but decided to buy the kit anyway. What can I say - in principle, all the reviews are legitimate and deserved, without exaggeration. However, most of the negative ones are due to the fact that the user took the model, as they say, not for himself (Microsoft marketers apparently overdid it). For example, I absolutely cannot imagine how you can use this keyboard without being able to type "blindly". It is impossible to speak about any ergonomics at all in this case. The same applies to complaints about certain inconveniences in games or when managing multimedia. My friends, this is a working tool and only a working tool, even if it shines. Of the shortcomings related to the work - first of all, the small size of the function keys, especially ESC. This is really a problem, and it is difficult (probably even impossible) to get used to it. The non-trivial arrangement of keys such as INS, DEL and others is also confusing at first, but you quickly get used to it (again, if you don’t know how to type “blindly”, this model will certainly not suit you). Perhaps many were misled by the “prettyness” of the model (what is commonly called “design”). I think this decision is debatable. I would prefer to do without glitter, not to sacrifice the size of the function keys (this is important), to make the mouse bigger and heavier. But, as they say, the user assumes, and Microsoft thinks it knows best, and decides for everyone. The price of one hundred dollars (give or take) seems quite adequate. Yes, this is not a Kinesis Ergo Erlan, but it works much better than mass keyboards. Once again. - if you do not know how to type "blindly"; - if you basically print a little (this is not the main purpose of the computer for you); - if for some reason you need/important multimedia functions; - if you are worried about the speed of the mouse and anything else in games; .then this kit is not for you, don't be fooled by the beauty of the curves ;-) Thank you for your attention.
