After reading the reviews I chose this purple suit as a gift for my sister who is in her 50's, downright sloppy (comfort over style) and 5ft 3in tall, Size 6/Medium. I bought a large one based on the reviews and its resistance to all mold adjustments. Well, let me tell you, she put on this costume and (although the bodice was a bit baggy) underwent an amazing transformation. The straps are adjustable. This magical swimsuit handled some energetic antics in the pool as if it were business, and surprisingly inspiring. In my opinion, the cut of this suit is flattering, but the bust is oversized. Too bad I didn't order the medium one as the large one was really roomy everywhere. It really fits the size. Regardless, the fabric is firm enough to keep my sister looking who she is in and out of the water. More importantly, she felt like a rock star. A few days later she still has a jump in her gait.
