Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.
I was looking for a new hard drive for a file dump and there it was staring back at me from the face of a subject. Barracudas have never failed me in the past (although the WD green has already crumbled for the second time), and I'm crossing my fingers that this one won't either. It's fairly quiet and gets the job done quickly enough, but the loudness isn't great because it's just a regular hard drive and not even a hybrid.
