Bathroom renovation has to wait another year or two. In the meantime I'll clean up a bit. I bought two of these shelves - one for the bathroom and the other by the sink - and they immediately increased the space. They were easy to install using the template provided. As I wrote in another review of another bathroom fixture, be sure to use a spirit level, masonry/tile drill and wall anchors when going through tile or ceramic. Also make sure to use the correct size drill bit. It's not easy to fix those hard surfaces if you fool around. This particular bathroom is 106 years old and looks like this. The design of the shelf coordinates well with other furnishings, but the furnishings are timeless and will surely look good in almost any bathroom style.
