The print quality of this cartridge is great, but there are a few big annoyances: 1) Replacing the chip with your old toner cartridge is quite difficult. It took me about 30 tries before I could push the chip into the right position. I'm quite a skilled person and used to build my own computers, but installing this chip was difficult. I finally installed it in about 15 minutes. I can't imagine doing this for all 4 toner cartridges. 2) This cartridge will always show a toner warning as the printer assumes it is the same cartridge you had previously. The only way to fix this problem is to turn off the warning on every computer you own. For me, this would mean disabling the alert on my 2 Macs, my PC, my wife's 2 Macs, my kids' 2 Macs, 4 iPhones and 3 iPads. The manufacturer provides instructions on how to do it on a PC, but doesn't mention Mac, iPhone, or iPad. I'll just give up and live with the warning. Next time I'll probably take a toner cartridge that doesn't need a chip change. It's too annoying.
