I don't know why it's impossible to find a can with a regular cap. They all come with those blunt grommets. I hate this. Just give me a regular cap and funnel. It is much easier. It annoys me that I had to buy a regular lid separately from the jar, but the lid itself fitted perfectly. I'd suggest turning it on and off a few times before actually checking it out. I put the lid on and turned the jar upside down and it leaked. I turned it on and off several times and everything worked great. Maybe the lid wasn't completely closed the first time, or it didn't have time to close. Either way it works great. Although I don't really need two lids, I'll take them if it means I can get rid of that stupid spout that came with the jar.
