After leaving it on for a few minutes, rinse the cloth with water or blot with a damp cloth. I've found I have to do this twice for most stains, but on the plus side it's clear that for many hand washing products this is safe as long as you're careful and don't rub the stain too hard. If you have something fancy and/or your clothes require a big investment, invest in this product too. Another plus is that the 2 ounce spray is good for on the go.
