Great light projector

EDIT: after about 2 months of daily use, including trips to grandma's and a few nights camping at a state park, the thing still works. Highly recommended. I just installed this projector today so can't comment on durability. Will be updated if it stops working. My son usually has one of those cheap ceiling lights that feature stars or fish shapes to light up his room while he sleeps because he's afraid of the dark. The problem I always run into is that they quickly stop working, whether the headlights burn out or the engine stops working, you have an unhappy frightened child in the middle of the night. I'm sick of the same old songs and dances so I caught this on a good Prime Day deal. For a few euros more, I'm very impressed. At first glance, it is bright and clear. The moon is my favorite part. There are 9 different color combinations for "clouds", also called light swirls, with red, green and blue. Then there are green stars/dots. Finally there is a super cool moon. Cloud colors flicker but don't move. You can press the cloud button to turn it on or off and hold the button to adjust the brightness. There is also a mode button to toggle between 9 color modes. My 4 year old son's favorite part is the so-called "disco mode” where all 3 cloud colors flash back and forth fairly quickly. It also has a mode where it slowly cycles through all the colors every 8-10 seconds or so. The green stars/dots also have a button but only for on/off and no brightness adjustment. The brightness feature would make it a perfect 5/5 stars but they are very bright. They move in circles but unlike dome projectors they only move a small portion not the entire top so there is little to no noise, and I hope that the motor does not burn out. The moon is my favorite part. The moon button toggles on or off, and holding it down adjusts the brightness like clouds. The overall design seems great. USB-C charging like the rest of your devices these days and a built-in rechargeable battery so you don't waste money on those AAs.
