I had two of these; both have exactly the same problems. - I am using this device to power 2 external monitors from one of my laptops. At random (and frequent) times, the monitors will disconnect and reconnect after a few seconds, causing the screen layout to change. (Monitors ran at 4K resolution, I downscaled the output to 1080p to see if the data reduction value improved - that didn't help. Downscaling from 2 to 1 monitor didn't work either.) - A connected USB Mouse freezes 90% of the time and also randomly disconnects. - When the power is connected through the adapter, I get a message that a "slow charger" is connected. Further tests show that each USB device, such as B. a keyboard, is also randomly separated. I thought I had a faulty device, but considering I'm seeing the exact same behavior on both adapters I have, this suggests that the problems I'm seeing are a flaw/imperfection in the design of this product are. I don't have any of the above issues with the Dell USB-C hub my laptop came with - this device only has HDMI + 1x USB 3.0 output (I need at least 2 USB outputs), but at least it works reliably and does not reset the device and does not slow down. I'll try other adapters and report the results for them to look for something that works
