Review on πŸ–₯️ Noctua NH-L9i chromax.Black - High-Performance, Low-Profile CPU Cooler for Intel LGA115x (Black) by Toni Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great cooler. Be sure to consider your system airflow

Excellent cpu cooler for intel as it is l9i not l9a-am4. AMD like many others here because they clearly state that this is not a good solution for AMD as the specific AMD NH-L9A is bigger and comes with the right mounting system. but in view of this sead i bought both l9i and l9a croma. I have successfully replaced the mounting kits for both with minimal effort without removing the screw as I currently have enough experience to use a properly sized Philip head to prevent slipping and detaching πŸ™„. just said. ok now my only and minimal complaint about how these two models are made. Board, but given that the mainstream users probably use mid-to-high-end mini-ITX boards for them, these Itx boards place there CPU components and sockets in a way that completely conflicts with these coolers, I think both Noctua coolers will work significantly better if they have top and bottom venting where they'll probably have a lot more airflow, but in this case it's a tricky technical issue since a vertical trellis cooler airs directly in the GPU or some component in the first PCIe blows a lot, so I understand why they hesitate, but given that I've personally mixed half a dozen mini-ITX systems from AMD and Intel, I can say that these two Coolers will be great on all my high end boards have much better clearance for ventilation vertically than horizontally in relation to the outlet. But with one exception, the 3900x, both coolers can still stay under gas on all systems, I've tested them both so I'm still giving them 5 stars
