In front of this laptop stand I used a bunch of books to raise my laptop to eye level because my neck hurt at desk level. This KlearLook stand is strong, durable and superior! I really like that the base is one piece and I use it as a mouse pad. I've already set it up to my liking, also because without the case I thought my rubber mouse feet wouldn't hold up, it's metal. I have a 13" and a 14" laptop that I've used it on and it works great. There's no reason it can't fit a laptop up to 16 inches if you have the space. I don't remember seeing it in the specs, but I think this stand will definitely support over 10 pounds of weight. This stand was provided to me free of charge for my review, but I would have no hesitation in recommending or buying it to family or friends. when i needed it
