I don't know what I was expecting here. If I paid <$10 whatever. You can get a full balaclava for less money. The seams are not very good. It won't take long at all. It's also not as stretchy as you might think. I would compare it to a sweat-wicking workout shirt. Slightly stretchy but not springy enough to stay on your face without the occasional readjustment, which isn't an option these days. The first thing I did was hand wash it. The water was black. If you understand this, I strongly encourage you to do the same. I also do not recommend washing in the washing machine. So wash + dry, allow 2 days before you can use it. Probably better than a headband. Maybe it's the shape of my head, but the thing doesn't hold up. I've had thinner and more elastic gaiters that have held up with no problems.
