I read all the reviews about them being small so I ordered something that looked large to me and fit our daughter perfectly. I should have taken the extra length because they were a bit long (which is ok) but she chose the extra length instead of pulling them up. Shortly after she started wearing them, I noticed a tear in the hem. Most likely it was our fault because I didn't grab the hem and she walked along it. But she did it with other pants, and they didn't tear at the hem. I like the pants and recommend them, but if they are a bit longer I recommend turning up the hem before putting them on.
