My two cats *hate* hard cat carriers but one of them doesn't mind traveling in this cat bag at all! I think because he can stick his head out and look around he doesn't cry like he does in a normal vehicle. And it's much easier for me to carry! In fact, I take him on walks in a stretcher and he loves it. It's also very easy to buckle up in my car's passenger seat when we're going somewhere - definitely less maneuvering than a regular luggage rack to get around the square sides. My other cat is a lot more shy so it takes a lot of effort to get her to (just to actually trim her nails) but my little cat (pictured) just runs in! It would be nice if there were holes for the hind legs to make trimming the hind claws easier. When I carry a cat carrier on my shoulder it feels solid and I'm never worried about it breaking or anything like that. The only real complaint about the size/comfort is that it's unsafe for my cat's paws to go through the paw holes when wearing it. I'm not sure, but it seems to me that the distance is too big, so his neck is being squeezed into the neckhole. If I leave the paw holes closed he can just stand up or lay down in the bag at an angle that provides enough support to prevent choking on the bag's neck. If his paws go through the paw holes, he has no way to change size because he has to lie on his stomach. Being thin/small, the distance from his stomach to his neck is too far for him to be comfortable.
