I'm moving. I moved out of my house to downsize and rent a room. I don't have a kitchen - my situation is literally "dorm life". I can make coffee, tea, soup and other simple ready meals/drinks replacing what a microwave oven would do by simply heating water to prepare a meal. Cooks fast. I tested it by just pouring a cup of water, the auto shut off mechanism works! The handle doesn't get hot. One thing I love, there's no steam to burn me. The teapot bothers me all the time. This kettle is easy to pour without any calculations to ensure safety. Built-in security. When boiling and turning off, it feels a slight warmth that is equal to and no different from a coffee cup. I can well imagine this item coming in handy for long car rides, to make baby bottles in advance (for feeding when it's chilly, of course), for a desk, etc. etc. Finally, I don't buy goods on the internet when it's them there are no reviews. No problems with glass/stainless steel and above all - a filter! Plastic and white color - PERFECT!
