light, long and durable. At first I was confused by the size of the screw, but you push it in to reveal a standard 1/4" screw for attaching a ball head or camera. There's also a standard 1/4" input on the bottom, which is great because I'm attaching a mini tripod/remote. for wireless trigger recording and optional acquisition. Used with the also light "mini ball head ARTCISE CB19". If screwed down and used carefully, it works well with A7S3 full frame camera + 17-28mm lens + Picogear Lav microphone receiver = about 1250 grams in total, about 1500 grams with rod and ball head.
