Review on Polar Vantage V2 Smart Watch: A Sleek Black Fitness Companion by Aneta Patryk (Anetka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Before buying a watch, I used previous Polar products. I train 5 times a week for 1.5-2 hours. Bicycle, jumping, barbell, special cardio work. Charging is enough for a week. A full charge takes 40-45 minutes. GPS, on the highway and in the forest, works correctly. I checked with other sources (bicycle computer, maps), speed, distance, correspond. When training, on a pulse of more than 130-140 beats, it is better to use a chest sensor, the light one starts to give incorrect information. I really liked the function of restoring the ANS and CCC (orthostatic test). The recommendations of the watch coincide with personal feelings on the dosing of the load, which helps in the analysis and planning of training. The function of the level of cardio load, allows you to maintain it in accordance with the task. I have not yet used the fitness test and the test to restore leg muscles. Was satisfied with the purchase. I got myself an assistant in the training process. For those who want to buy an expensive device and do not go deep into sports or serious fitness, it is better to choose something else, fashionable and understandable to others. This watch is for those who are into sports.

Pros
  • In my opinion, the main thing in this watch is the ability to track in the application, the level of physical activity, as well as the degree of recovery, thanks to the assessment of the state of the ANS and the results of the orthostatic test. After I started using these functions, I made adjustments to the training process and training became more fruitful.
Cons
  • 1. When the backlight is off and there is a lack of lighting, the display is hard to read. In the settings there is a function to force the backlight to turn on. 2. In the training mode, the number of segments is displayed in a very small font, which is impossible to read in motion.
