I purposely spent $15 on this instead of buying the cheaper one because I wanted faster speed. This particular model promises good USB 2.0 speeds according to reviews and description, so it does what it says on the tin. My only disappointment is that I bought it for $15; and a few days later I found it for $5 from another seller. Since this isn't a product defect, I'm not deducting a star. Do a search, you're sure to find this for less than $6. Note: If this helps anyone, it's a bit greasy as you see in the picture. If you're using this, you probably can't use a USB near the port you plugged it into. For most people, this is neither a problem nor a surprise. Like, should I be able to figure out what's out of the picture.
