This cot was everything we expected. Easy to install and remove and perfect for easy storage when not in use. Wheel buffers don't need to be used if you don't. They do not affect the stability of the bed. Wheel locks keep the cot in place, but we put it against the wall. Our grandson was 10 months and 30 inches when he came to visit and slept soundly through the night while he was with us. The mattress was not up to our daughter's standards. She and her husband attach great importance to the chemical composition (no PVC, phalate, polyurethane, melamine, formaldehyde, BPA, etc.) and the exact materials cannot be determined from the labeling. We bought a mattress. the mattress and mattress topper to carry and the organic cotton sling from Naturepedic and they were perfect. The Naturepedic mattress is 2 to 3 inches thick and very durable. It fits perfectly with this crib without leaving any gaps. I would highly recommend this travel cot. The price, the construction and the comfort are perfect.
