Review on Sony MZ N420D Walkman Digital Player by Manni Diaz

Fantastic little player. You will read many reviews about how terrible the SonicStage software is. Don't believe it. SonicStage and the ATRAC sound system were the best music system ever made. The sound and compression ratio is far superior to MP3. The problem was that SONY had developed a proprietary way of recording music onto the Walkman, which in itself wasn't a bad idea. If you have a CD, it's very easy to transfer music to your Walkman; MP3 to ATRAC also, if you buy all your music from iTunes and try to transfer them to ATRAC, you may encounter problems. I've been using the SonicStage ATRAC system for all my music for years and have never had a problem. In any case, in my humble opinion, ATRAC was and is the best sound system ever made. Enjoy :)
