Purchased for the granddaughter's 14th birthday. I was a bit hesitant about the hot wax but she agreed to do it to me the first few times. I had her open the package and read the instructions, I just made sure she was interpreting the instructions correctly and she did! These instructions are simple enough for a child, and the child actually did. I was expecting several visits to the Hobby Lobby to pick up the missing parts, but it was all there. She made some very nice candles for her as a gift. birthday party She found several 4 oz Mason Jars that turned out to be very good. Although I still keep an eye on the hot wax, she has become very inventive in her candle design. Overall, this is a really great craft gift!
