Ok, so I didn't expect much, I can see where the 'seam' may be an issue over time and come apart, but nothing some needle and thread can't fix. I have a smaller calf so they won't be too taught when wearing them, so I may have better luck with the seaming holding than others which have reviewed. Overall they are really cute, the buttons seem well attached.For the price, I would consider buying again. But I would recommend hand washing and hang drying, the washing machine would destroy these after a few washes if not the first wash, IMHO
