Howard Orange Oil Furniture Polish and Cleaner is amazing! The front doors of my house are sun-bleached and dry. I painted them about 10 years ago but there was no varnish or sealer on it. In the morning the sun bangs on the door. These doors are covered with a porch to keep out the rain. After watching many videos and researching the products, I ordered this Orange Oil to try restoring wood before gel staining or using Howard Restore-a-Finish. The plan was to sand my random orbital sander lightly and wipe it down with this cleaner. As a test, I sanded the bottom plate. It cleaned up well, so I rubbed it down with orange oil smeared with a lint-free towel. The wood soaked up the oil and looked great. So I took a leap of faith and decided to wipe down a door without even sanding it. Again the wood soaked up the oil and looked great. It came alive again! I was so happy with how it turned out, I did both doors. Although it didn't take long (30 minutes), I decided to sand and dust the wooden chair on my porch. I don't think I had to sand it at all, but oh well. The chair looks good too. I'm still laughing at how good it looks. In the near future I will paint and seal the doors. I'll probably get the chair dirty too, but so far it looks a lot better than it was. 8 dollars?!? I only used half the bottle. I'm going to clean my closets with it tonight. I will update if anything changes.
