Not suitable for uneven chimneys
We have a stone chimney, so as expected the surface is uneven. This is obviously a minor problem with any product, but it adhered well and seemed to flex to conform to *most* base curves of the stone. Our little one had a game of pulling the guards off (she could do it quite easily) and we eventually had to give up using them. Before assembly, we cleaned the affected areas with alcohol according to the instructions. He just can't handle rough ground like rocks and a mischievous toddler.
