I wasn't expecting much for the price but we stock all of our moving items and I was dying to do something . This seemed like a great solution when it worked. It's really amazing! The handle is very comfortable, and the acrylic tips have a beautiful finish, perfect smoothness. The other backlit acrylic hook I bought is a bit "greasy" and will probably need at least 3 strands before it's smooth. The tips are easy to change with the included wrench and will hold tight when you feel a slight click. The measurement is clearly marked - unfortunately only in millimeters, not size (e.g. F, G, H, I, J) - but the markings aren't visible when the tip is attached to the pen. So if you don't remember the size of the handle, you'll have to take it off to see the size. My light on my other lighted hook is too bright and blue and could trigger a migraine. It has two settings that are easily activated and deactivated with a toggle switch on the handle. The lighter setting is much softer than the plain setting on my other hook and more like a lavender color.
