My mother recently moved in with us, she is a very heavy smoker. and refuses to go outside for it, desperate for the best air purifier I could find. I chose this one because of the good reviews. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase, I think it's totally worth the price. Works great on cigarette smell. Before I bought it the smell spread throughout the house, my kids went to school and smelled like it and that was it. I put this air purifier in the hallway outside of her room and it completely fixed the problem. It's also very quiet! The filter itself works for quite a long time, this machine has filtered out a lot of smoke in the last 3 weeks. My mom smokes 5 packs a day and the filter is still holding up. The replacement is very easy to find and also very easy to replace. when the time comes. it also helped a lot against the dust, that was a problem in my old house for quite some time, i'm considering buying another one for the ground floor for this problem. The colored lights are an added bonus, really cool and create a peaceful mood. This air purifier is an amazing machine! Absolutely worth the price! Highly recommended
