I was trying to replace my shorter, thicker HDMI cable with this one in my setup. I was able to get a picture but unfortunately I had an intermittent flickering every 5 seconds where part of the screen was flashing white. My setup is just my Vizio TV connected to my laptop via a USB-C adapter, 4k 60Hz. I don't think this is my setup because I've used two other different HDMI cables with the same resolution and settings in this setup and they worked great. I only had problems with this particular monocene cable. Although this cable is not designed to be used with an adapter, there was no indication or warning that it would not work with it. The only reason it didn't get a star is that I assume it will work fine with a standard direct HDMI-to-HDMI connection.
