For the more casual, basic makeup user, having enough tools to even need a case was BIG DEAL. Fits all my brushes. A few notes on this: I was expecting it to be better packaged (I guess it depends on the content). It doesn't really roll unless you have brushes. It only folds up once. This can affect his ability to travel well. And the valve at the top, which I assume is for closing the brush heads, is too short. The grips of my hands may be short, but I don't think it would hurt if they extended down the length of the flap. The exterior is simple but clean. I don't travel much and I don't even wear makeup every day so this bag is perfect for my needs.
