Programming can be a problem for those who have difficulty with new technologies (45+). Doesn't record, but you can go back 48 hours to catch up on shows and movies. Also, there are no instructions for all these gadgets. Trial and error is the name of the game. Once you run it, it will work pretty well. We use it as we are down south in the winter.
