Review on Cellet Universal Holder Adjustable Iphone by Javein Harvey

Considering how many other car mounts for smartphones there are, I had to try this. I went in knowing there was a good chance it would be garbage. It doesn't stay on the dash, my phone has been dropped multiple times. I didn't want to use the included vent mount because I didn't want to block the air. However, it works that way, which is why I use this product that way. There are two issues with the mount: 1. The grips, when tightened on the sides, press down on the buttons of my phone. 2. I had to get the gel case out to "pull" the phone in the holder because when it's not in the silicone case the phone doesn't hold very well, slipping and falling a few times. The "cleat" on the bottom could have been better with some neoprene for traction but it isn't. I've modified this block to work for me and my machine as I'm used to scams, that's fine, but for those of you reading this, keep this in mind. The attachment to the dashboard is weak, I even tried the outer double sided foam tape still to no avail. The base is too small compared to the mount with the phone installed, the weight of the top is too much for the very small base. If they could make this part bigger and add better glue, that would work I think. For now I have to live with the blocked vent but now I can use my phone within range and see/hear my phone's navigation app.
