I read the reviews and saw that the jacket runs small, so I ordered 2 sizes up. Still way too small. The shoulders are tiny, even in a 3X. I returned it, but other than the size being wrong, it looked to be a nice coat.Let me start this by saying I live in Minnesota. I know about cold.The outer shell isn't really thick. It is a kind of windbreaker/rainsheild. It would be a light jacket in the spring. Not bad, just not thick.The inner layer is a faux fur. I picked the red fur, and it is fluffy. The fur kinda looks like a curly stuffed animal.so obviously fake, but still cute and warm. The fur goes the whole way down the arms (yay for added warmth!).Both layers make it a warm jacket. Maybe not with -20° windchill, but for most winter days. ( BTW, the layers do not detatch) It does have snaps and a zipper. The waist does not tighten, just the 3 inches above each pocket.If it had fit, I would have loved it.
