Took me literally 25 minutes from start to finish on my 2007 C70. It helps that I've removed the waterfall several times. The hardest part is removing the gear selector knob, which is really easy once you know how. If you insert the key and put the gearing in the neutral position, the threaded part at the bottom can be moved much further down under the slots of the handle itself. Then it pops out with a little effort. I've read that people just loosen it (1/4 turn or so) and then pull as tight as possible to get it popping out. Not necessarily.
