I tried out a bunch of different slip leads and found this to be the best style. I've been using this for months and finally decided to write a review. So, there are two things that it does differently that I appreciate. First, it uses a stitched fabric piece to fasten the handle loop. Second, it uses a plastic stopper piece to keep the neck loop in place.These are both improvements over the typical fake leather that stretches and wears out quickly. It's also better than the hard plastic that is sometimes used to secure the handle. These pieces are glued on and, before long, it comes loose. Lastly, I like that there isn't padding on the handle because I find that too bulky, but some people might prefer it.
