Review on Efficient Odor Control: Petmate Basic Hooded Cat Litter Pan by Brooke Rogers

The first thing I would like to say about this tray is that it definitely shouldn't be called big! More like a small tray. It seems to me that this is something that can only be used for very small kittens. My 8 month old kitten didn't really like going in because it was too small. She definitely fit, but she didn't have the room she would normally like. Also, the filter on this tablet really isn't worth it. My cat could easily take it off and play with it and it didn't seem to do anything. If it was advertised as a litter box for very small kittens it would be a different story but it was not advertised and gave the impression that it was only for a medium sized cat. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to a cat who isn't a new little kitten. Also, the door didn't hold up very well, and almost every time my kitten got in and out of the litter box, one of the hinges would come loose and the door would fall halfway down. It was very annoying. I will say that it was well fixed on the base and the grip was strong. It was easy to keep clean.
