Tried other non-SLS options for the same price or less ($12 per tube++). Look, I know that's a lot of bucks for toothpaste. If you want a great toothpaste and don't want those painful chemicals; There are other toothpastes that are all natural and probably not bad. But I like this one because MY TEETH FEEL CLEAN. My breath is fine. It lathers more than others I've used in this category. Non-SLS became a gripe for me when my mouth started to react badly to conventional toothpastes like (you know them). And it gradually got more and more annoying as I had my kids and body/hormonal/30 year old adjustments! I think there were too many chemicals for my sensitive mouth. I've tried a number of things - believe me I'm going crazy. After 6 weeks of painful situations where I couldn't even brush my teeth I decided to try another brand but it made my mouth very dirty, hard and not that clean. I finally found this: 1000% worth it: I've been in this first tube for 2 weeks now and it's day and night. If you can't use other brands and have to forego SLS, this is a winner for me. I have finished the search.
