Humidity is always a problem in the Pacific Northwest and I'm happy to report that this unit works great. It's powerful enough to circulate a lot of air through my sailboat, but it's a bit noisy. My boat stays closed over the winter and I can't empty the storage tank every day. I solved the problem by drilling a 5/8 inch hole in the bottom of the reservoir and adding a rubber grommet. I put one end of the plastic tubing in the hole and the other end in the sink drain. Water is no longer collected. in the tank it drains into the sewer as soon as the water level reaches the pipe, no more emptying the tank.
