Review on 🔌 Sunco Construction Electrician for Downlight Installations by Dan Chunn

These are great lights for $10 each. We used them under our waterproof deck with Sunco LED inserts (2700K, also available in packs of 10 from Revain for $75) and the two components are connected directly to each other. They are easy to assemble and have small nails in each leg that work well with I-beams too. Adjustable metal mounting rails can be attached to each of the four sides of the light and easily shortened in 12" increments to fit between the joists. As with most new jigs, they come with press-fit electrical connectors that accept a variety of wire gauges and make connection super quick if you like three connectors. Personally, I'm not yet sure of their long-term viability, so I decided to cut them off and use tried-and-true wire nuts with tape, as I've done for decades without a single problem. But if you like them, you can quickly assemble and connect all ten lights. I will definitely use these devices in my future work!
