So far so good
I have one like this (no antenna as I already have an antenna on the roof) so I can use an external HD (My Passport) as a DVR (PVR). can for live recording. Setup was pretty easy. Had to look at directions once or twice. The only downside, probably due to USB 2.0 instead of 3.0, is that I can only speed up 2x when fast-forwarding ads. When I use 4x or 8x it freezes and I can only get it working again by unplugging and plugging the device back in. I think it has more to do with USB and external HD. Too bad I can't connect it to my computer for recording.
