I ordered these on a whim because I'm attending a conference and wanted a pair of cute pants that could look casual and cute. I'm a true size 6 petite. I'm 5" 1" and about 125 pounds BUT I wanted the pants to be looser on my body to look dressier and not too tight as I'm curvy so I ordered medium. Yes they are loose, but by no means do they gape, fall off, or create a weird effect on the front or back.Of course, they're likely to shrink in the dryer, so they're perfect, especially when I want to wear them over fleece-lined leggings , but still cute fit Get your size up for a comfortable fit.
