Good product for the price. We've had a Pyle vacuum for about a year. It works exclusively on hard surfaces with no transitions and does a great job of picking up cat hair, cat litter, and debris, including grass, leaves, and dirt. It was very reliable, with only one 'problematic' incident where a buildup of debris caused it to start going in circles. Luckily we also have an ILIFE A4, so we knew how to remove the lid to clean the inside of the vacuum cleaner. A great vacuum cleaner for this price. Compared to our ILIFE A4, we noticed the following: Battery life - much shorter. Pyle vacuums 500 to 800 square feet in one go, while ILIFE can typically clean 1,500 square feet. The noise is much louder. We rarely hear ILIFE running upstairs, but we can clearly hear Pyle upstairs running downstairs. about the transition. If you're fast enough, you can rescue the vacuum before it runs out of battery, but if not, it'll be up and running in a matter of hours. Reliability - Pyle had less cleaning needs and less downtime than ILIFE. We only had one situation last year where the Pyle and the ILIFE broke down within a few weeks of purchase and needed a major clean every few months. This may be due to Pyle's simpler design or because we use it less often. Customer service - we didn't get a chance to try it. At first ILIFE had problems and we used the same methods to "fix" Pyle in one case where it wasn't working. It was to be expected for the price and these features are not essential for reliable performance. Compared to the 2005-2008 Roomba we previously owned, the Pyle is just more solid and much more reliable. Roomba never worked for a full year. Update: After 14 months of use, the Pyle vacuum cleaner has stopped working. It twists and turns, but doesn't move forward. This time a thorough cleaning didn't solve the problem. We have not attempted to contact customer service as the product is no longer under warranty.
