I actually bought this to use with a soy milk maker. I've found that I can cook soybeans in a pressure cooker and puree them in a blender without the need for another electrical appliance! After blending the grains, I just pour the mixture into a strainer and the milk will flow into the pitcher! The damper pushes the rest of the grinder through the screen without dirt or particles. Works great! I have soy milk on request and don't have to pull out an extra electronic device for it! Much cheaper to do it yourself and fresh fresh fresh! Ideal for almond milk and any other peanut milk!
