I've tried making this protein powder a few different ways: mixed with water, soy milk, almond coconut milk, lots of ice, mixed with twice the amount of water, leave in the fridge overnight hopefully I'll moisten it. Nothing I've done makes this powder even remotely edible/drinkable. It's like trying to drink sandy water no matter what I do with it. It feels like raspy, raspy, hard, pasty, chalky particles scratching your throat when you drink it, no matter how diluted it is. The breakout was unbearable as it broke me down terribly, gave me stomach pains and messed with my hormones. Also, cow's milk tastes bad. So I tried a pre-mixed Vega+ and it turned out to be pretty good, not the best flavor but relatively good and pretty smooth. Also, it didn't make me break out and feel worse. However, Vega+ is expensive (like most expensive protein drinks, whether vegan or whey), so I wanted to try an alternative to save some money. It's not this powder. I have to believe that the positive reviews about this powder are either fake or these people have the weirdest, most tolerant tastes on the planet and regularly chew bentonite clay for fun. I really love hearty, rough, chewy, sugary, and bitter things like long fermented sour whole grains, natto, kimchi, tree ear mushrooms, etc., but I absolutely can't drink that awful sand water!
