Review on 🚁 Cheerwing Syma X5SW-V3 Quadcopter RC Drone with WiFi FPV Camera - Ideal for Kids and Beginners, 2.4Ghz by Debbie Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They should name it Syma XHULK+!

The thing is a TANK! I beat that thing to death and she takes it all like a champ. I crashed into beams, cranes, walls and even nose-dived into the concrete on the floor and it rebounded back into levitation. I don't consider myself an experienced pilot but I try to do all the high speed maneuvers that an experienced pilot would and I'm not always very good which usually means a crash. The FPV camera function is pretty decent, a bit of lag but not a big deal. Down to the meat and potatoes: Cons: FPV lags Not the best windy flight with prop and gear protection. (Remove them and you will see a big difference in stability and control.) Sometimes it can take up to 15 seconds for the transmitter to connect to the drone. The controller looks a bit cheap. Only one battery and charger included. which takes forever to load. (Order the combo: T439 charger with 5 3.7v/700mah batteries and that will cut it down to about 30 minutes, plus you have 6 batteries worthy of flight time!) fly Makes the coolest somersaults you've ever seen! Excellent maneuverability and control. Good price! The best ratio of price and quality! FPV for live videos while flying. (Not to mention it's a 2MP camera so the quality isn't too bad) Headless capability Programmable modes Trim capabilities for better flight stabilization Did I mention it's indestructible? No matter how hard I smash it, you'd think it was titanium and bulletproof. (Which really makes me want to test that theory.) And now for sauce on top of that, you're spending around $60 to get a fully functional and absolutely awesome drone with all the features that expensive drones have, minus the impact on the wallet. If you're serious and want to fly outside on a windy day and be totally still with a video, you'll need to spend a little more money. If you want to learn how to fly and how to launch these things while shooting videos, this is your best choice out there. You wouldn't walk into a store and expect to buy an 80" flat screen for the price of a 15" would you? If you're looking for something extremely accurate and stable enough to be serious about video, you'd better pull out your checkbook. For all other needs, that's it. PS Did I mention that thing is a tank?

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far so good
