SILVERCEL is that reinforcement is required to accelerate healing of the treated wound. We use SILVERCEL to treat a skin tear on her lower leg under the guidance of a wound care specialist. I can and do change all dressings, including SILVERCEL, at home between visits to our wound care specialist.
