Review on πŸ”’ Enhance Your Travel Security with Forge TSA Lock Pack Indicator Accessories by Autumn Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works flawlessly, easy to use, easy to set up. It may be necessary to place a warning or instructions for the TSA on the lock.

Bought just before my trip to the UK, combo set straight away with no problems. Five stars because it worked perfectly. Note: If you are unfamiliar with setting combos on small locks, please read (and understand) the instructions before attempting combos! it was impossible to remove it without reblocking. Note. Apparently the TSA agent who reviewed our case found a way around this (see below). I needed TSA approved locks as on our last trip I was called to pick the locks on our bags as they didn't have a key (I figured since I can pick them with a paper clip they would do the same or just the cut off locks but to be honest they were nice and asked me to open them). I don't like locking my luggage but it seems like a must now. The last few times I've left my luggage unlocked, I've had a partially open zipper on a suitcase when I took it out (to eliminate any doubt it might have caught on something in transit) and then the zipper pull was open damaged on the other side (something could get caught again). They worked perfectly until our return trip. Between Las Vegas and Los Angeles the TSA turned out to be opening a case and as far as I can tell they panicked when they couldn't get the key out of the lock and managed to pick the lock. We found that the lock inside the suitcase was broken (shackle no longer locks), with an indicator light and a note from TSA that the suitcase had been inspected. I can still change the combination, but the shackle is damaged and I can't fully engage the lock. One down, 3 go.
